People say completing school and getting degrees completes for education, but that is not the right approach. Do you think the pythagoras theorem we studied in school are making us life-ready?

No, I dont think so they are just the academics. While there are still a lot of things that needs to taken care of.

The reason why depression rates are always higher is that nobody taught us how to face this.

Have schools prepared us to face failures of life on the contrary they only knew how to differentiate between people on the basis of capabilities. A person who is more capable is being rewarded while a person less capable is punished.

Do you think is this the right way to educate? Why can’t we teach the weak kids how to improve.

Here are few things that should be taught in schools:

Everyone is equally capable

Most schools and teachers have the tendency to differentiate between kids by tagging them on the basis of their abilities which is not good. Every kid is equally capable, and this should be taught. This needs to be corrected as soon as possible.

Personal Development

Personal development as a complete subject should be introduced in schools. In the end, more than degrees, life skills play a major role in our life. This as a subject will help kids understand failures and how to face them. They will build a positive mindset so that they can deal with any situation no matter the toughness of the situation.

Exploring Yourself

After spending a whole 12 years in school we end up realizing we don’t know what to do in life. Which is totally fine. But schools should take the initiative to give kids the exposure and experience so that they get more practical in everything.

Getting exposure in different fields helps to realize our interest, which will help them make a better decision after finishing school. Even though knowing ourselves is a lifelong process, but exposure gives a good idea about life.
